Tasmania Pet Friendly Cafes

For too long our best furry friends have been pushed aside while we pop in to the café for our weekend coffee pit stop.  With a bowl of water at their feet they wait patiently outside tethered to a pole or a bench for their humans to finish off their double shot caramel soy latte. But fear no more people, we have found some special places where you and your best friend can enjoy a pupcake (or a pint) together in the warm summer sun.

Winter Brook Vineyard

Winter Brook Vineyard is located around an hours drive from Devonport. This is the perfect place to bring you pooch for a fun day of wine tasting and picnics. The owners have their own dogs so are more than happy to allow you bring your four-legged friend and let them roam the fenced vineyard while you enjoy your wine tasting. BYO picnic and relax amongst the beautiful ground with your pup and a smooth glass of red. They are open Friday-Sunday.

Jam Jar Lounge- Hobart

Jam Jar lounge is one of Hobart’s only dog friendly cafes. Established in 2009 it has been selected at on of the Top 10 Cafés in Hobart (Hooray!) They offer a delightful menu of Japanese/Thai  fusion for lunch and dinner. They are also open for breakfast where they serve a wicked array of toasted ‘Jaffles’. They have a dog friendly courtyard which allows you to bring you dog and enjoy a fantastic glass of Tasmanian wine in the sunny courtyard.
